SoulWorker North America and Europe IP blocks other regions

  • If you are from North America or Europe and you've been playing Gameforge's SoulWorker, we have some not so good news.
Gameforge just implemented IP block on Soul Worker Dzenai, preventing players from external of North America and Europe of accessing this anime brawler. This move makes perfect sense, given that SoulWorker has deals constantly in place in other regions including Korea and Japan, and will open as much as other countries in the foreseeable future. It's a common practice that players utilized to online games for instance Vindictus are aware of. The message can be as follows:
“Note regarding IP block: Players from regions which usually are not under our licensing rights unfortunately are unable to access our version of SoulWorker.”
However, the timing wasn't exactly perfect, as a few of these players may currently have spent some bucks in Cheap Soul Worker Dzenai cash shop.
Personally, I'm not for spending a lot of cash in games during open beta, unless you're 100% sure you won't be locked out i really enjoy seeing. In this particular case, and although this was predictable and in all honesty expected, it may have been prevented with many clear communication regarding the matter through the start in the open beta.
